I read this quote recently....."Do what you can, with what you have, where you are".......(Theodore Roosevelt)  SO.....back in August last year,  I wrote a song for my best friend Gill,  who had been battling cancer....she was an inspiration...never complained, and tried to keep her life as normal as possible, but she sadly lost her battle on 5th Jan 2015........

Even though the original  fundraising goal has been met, I shall continue "onwards and upwards" in Gill's memory, because, as she herself said to me, it helped her, knowing that what we were doing was going to help someone like her in the future! This song is about friendship and faith.......available to purchase and download on iTunes & Amazon for 99p...here are the links:

I want to raise awareness -  apparently, when you reach 60,  testing kits are sent out,  but that may be too late for some people......please ask your GP if you can be tested earlier. 

Cancer robbed me of my Dad when I was just 13,  and other precious people I've known down the years have lost their battle to it- so I am being pro active .....wanting to help fight this thing, and hopefully  to make a difference.
