On Christmas Day my Mum , Shirley Luckhurst was taken ill again. She received wonderful care from two Paramedic Teams, Margate and Canterbury Hospitals and their staff. Mum is okish now thankfully - thanks to the wonderful care she was given.

My dear Dad Albert Luckhurst lost his short battle with cancer two and a half years ago. He spent his last few days in the  Pilgrims Hospice Margate, they couldn’t have done more for him or my family.

This last Christmas I’ve had a massive wake up call and so want to do something momentous for my parents and so many others who need care. 

Therefore I’m ready to take this challenge.
