Story
In June I discovered that I had bowel cancer. It was a shock and a life changing experience. Surgeons, doctors and nurses at the Bedford Hospital have saved my life and The Primrose Cancer Unit staff have provided amazing care following my operation and through the on-going chemo therapy treatment.
My first chemo therapy treatments have been administered in a temporary porta cabin. Funds are still needed to complete The vital Primrose Unit facility for cancer patients in Bedfordshire and I would like to help them reach their target. 1 in 3 people are affected by some type of cancer. The Primrose Unit helps so many people to get through their treatments, support them in so many ways and goes on helping them for many years after the cancer is diagnosed.
Please try to give something this Christmas to The Primrose Unit. Instead of buying me a card and wasting the postage, or buying me a Christmas present, I would consider it a far greater gift if you were to spend that money to help save someone's life, support them through chemo therapy and help your community to have this most necessary facility.
