Age UK is a amazing charity close to my heart, and the services that they offer to our family are invaluable over the last few years, and I would like to take this opportunity to give something back.

As well as having a part-time job, I am a carer for my Father who suffers with Alzheimer's, and requires around the clock care. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, my father attended a day center which was run by Age UK. This experience brought happiness, but also provided us with much needed rest bite. Unfortunately due to restrictions, the center has not been able to operate in the conventional sense, and has had to adapt to using Zoom and Teams to interact with their clients.

My son brought me this experience as a gift for my 60th birthday. This activity is something completely out of my comfort zone, but raising money for a worthy cause will make it all worthwhile.
