Story
Breast Cancer is a huge part of my life. My beautiful Mum and Grandma died from it and I was diagnosed with it at 37 years old and am grateful to say I am now a Triple Negative Breast Cancer thriver. I was diagnosed at Stage 2 Grade 3, which in cancer land is considered an early diagnosis...and early diagnosis saves lives. If people check their boobs and pecs regularly it can save their life. It is so important to educate and raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer so more and more people can survive and thrive after a breast cancer diagnosis.
And so i'm dusting off my hiking boots and heading to the desert in the name of boobs. To shout from the sandy dunes please please CHECK YOUR BOOBS. This will be such a huge physical, mental and emotional challenge but one that I am grabbing with both hands (please grab your boobs with both your hands and have a check!)
I would appreciate anything you can donate so much. Breast Cancer is a terrible disease but because of it I seize opportunities that come my way more than ever before, push myself out of my comfort zone and feel so passionately about experiencing all I can. Please help me to spread awareness of breast cancer with the incredible Coppa Feel by reaching above and beyond my fundraising target.
CoppaFeel! are the first UK breast cancer charity to create awareness amongst young people, with the aim to install a new healthy habit that could one day save a life. They are on a mission to stamp out late detection of breast cancer and ensure the nation is checking their boobs regularly. They want to educate people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, encourage them to get to know what is normal for them and empower young people to have the confidence to see a doctor if they notice anything that isn't right for them.
