hey all please help. Every penny helps. x

I am walking the midnight walk (10 miles) in aid of St Peters Hospice. The hospice has a very special place in our families hearts. This time last year we were going through the worse time of our lives. My dad had been diagnosed with cancer and we had been given the worse news that it was terminal. Dad got very poorly very quickly and lost his fight to cancer only 12 weeks after being dignosed. The thought of a hospice at first terrified dad and he wanted to die at home. It came to a time where he needed 24 hour care and needed help to sort out his medication. Dad was in the hospice for 8 days. It wasn't long but long enough for dad and the family to realise what a wonderful place the hospice was. Dad felt very safe thier and the nurses, doctors and staff couldn't have done enough for us. They were there to explain everything to us and for a quiet chat, a shoulder to cry on or just a cup of coffee. The hospice gave us the family room so we could stay close to dad. Dad passed away on 31st May. The staff were extremely caring and understanding tending to our every need.

Please, please, please help us in our walk to raise money for a fantastic charity.......one day all of us could need the care and attention of these fantastic people....
