Story
Thank you for your generosity and support! Because of you I have reached my target of raising £2500, and the donations keep coming in. Fantastic!
And this is all in a great cause - I ran in the London Marathon on 25th April 2010 to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. The race went well, with what for me was quite a fast first half, and a slow but steady second half - so not a personal best on this occasion! But it felt good at the end and was such an enjoyable event.
It was great having support on the day from my family, Marcelle, Anna and Martin; from friends Maggie, Lorna and Astrid; and from Angela and John.
Angela, my sister, has multiple sclerosis. Her great humour, positive outlook and determination to live life to the full are a tremendous inspiration to me and I ran this race for her.
The MS Society relies on voluntary income to provide vital services to those affected by multiple sclerosis. Both nationally and locally, the MS Society is constantly striving to improve the lives of people with MS and their friends and family. However, they cannot do this without your help.
So please dig deep and donate now.
