Auntie Bridgette Copprue, who was more like my sister as we were only 6 months apart in age, was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer and died within a few months. Bridgette was the light of our family and her death last year still haunts us.  

Auntie Bridgette is the most recent of several family members whose lives were taken by cancer and I will be swimming for all of them.

Many of you know what this horrible disease does. The practical and moral assistance Macmillan provides helps to face the hardships of this affliction.
