Story
MND Charity events was created in 2011 by me Carl Wilson along with the help of his friends to help support the wonderful work of the MND Association who like us, strive for a world free of Motor Neurone Disease, a condition that currently effects over 5000 people in the UK.
The inspiration behind this charity was following the diagnosis and death of my father David and number of other Wilson loved ones.
Unfortunately on September the 15th 2018 my father finally lost his battle.
MND is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks the upper and lower motor neurones, leading to weakness and wasting away of muscles, resulting in immobility of the limbs, speech difficulties as well as with swallowing and breathing.
Therefore over the last few years I have continued to come up with wild and wonderful ways to raise both money and awareness so that this charity can continue to bring hope and support to those MND sufferers and their families!

I appreciate some of you have donated already, but please pass this on to your friends and whatever you can give in terms of support, a couple of what we appreciate is hard earn quid, or even get involved yourself, all your support will be gratefully received!
