Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, I'll try to keep this short and not soppy!

Several years ago we lost someone very dear to us, our grandmother Mary (Nanna Mary as she was known to us!), and in later life she was severely affected by Parkinson's. It's a disease which affects 1 in 500 and a cause which is very close to my heart. In the past I've never been outspoken about this before but an event has come along which has given me the opportunity to do just that.

On Saturday 20th May I will be competing in the Stockport white collar boxing event, a 3 x 2 minute round fight against an equally matched opponent fighting for their equally important charity. I've already won and lost at this event before, this one is not about the final result but doing something greater for an important cause.
