Story
Beautiful Florence Grace was ‘born our angel’ on the 26th April 2018 at 40 weeks 6 days and life has never been the same since ... and never will be.
The pain endured is indescribable and we are overwhelmed at how many people have been affected by Florence’s story and the love and support we have received has been so comforting. Our lives will forever have a missing piece and we will carry Florence within our hearts always.
1 in 4 women suffer the trauma of the loss of a baby and many of you may have experienced this heartache first hand or have been affected by the loss of a loved one’s baby. We would give anything to help prevent this heartache for mothers and families and a step towards achieving this goal is via funding valuable research into causes and prevention of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth.
We are organising a walk for Florence on Sunday 9th September 2018, leaving at 2pm from George VI Memorial Park (Winterstoke Garden side, Victoria Parade, CT11 8DG) to raise money for Tommy’s charity. We will finish our walk at Sir Stanley Gray (CT11 0NJ) where there will be a buffet waiting for you. Full details and itinerary can be found on my Facebook event. (If you are not currently on the group, please message me and I will ensure you are invited to receive all the details). If you are unable to join the walk but still wish to contribute, we will be very grateful for your donation.
Grief has no destination and we will never ‘heal’ or ‘go back to normal’ ... instead we are on a journey to find a ‘new normal’. By gaining your support to raise money to help others, will ensure we grow strong to survive this awful tragedy and help us look forward positively to the next chapter of our lives.
Thanking you in advance for your support towards a tremendous cause.
All our love, Carina Neeves and Mark Taylor xxx
