Story

This is something very special to our family. Many years ago we stopped doing presents at Christmas and started having a food drive each year to donate as much food as possible to a local food bank. This year we have chosen The Food Bank of North Carolina located in Raleigh. The NCNG put troops on orders to help out at the food banks as well because volunteers are scarce due to COVID. I have also started a fundraiser to try and raise as much money as possible because they desperately need it. 100% of all proceeds go directly to the food bank. Every dollar counts, and every dollar donated provides 5 meals for people in need. Please share this fundraiser page to get the word out that our local community needs us. I dedicated this fundraiser to my grandmother, Eleanor Hardwick. Her passion was her church and her community. She dedicated all of her time to helping the community in every way she could, from sewing dolls and blankets to cooking her amazing meals to sell at fundraisers. She died after a long fight with breast cancer and she would be so happy knowing her generosity and kindness is still remembered. We all can make a difference in this time of need.
