My Story
The reason why I am doing this fund-raising is because it gives me a once in a life time opportunity to do a Sky-Dive from 15,000 feet up in the air and travelling up to speeds of 120mph!
I was researching a charity to raise money, so I decided to do some background research. I came to a conculsion that an idea of performing a sponsored charity sky dive, I also have a good reason to choice this charity beacuse my Cricket Captain, who i know well through my family as well as in the game, well his daughter was air lifted by the Yorkshire Air Ambulance because the horse she was riding lifted up on her and fell on the poor girl breaking her hip, however thanks to the speed of a helicopter and the staff. The Yorkshire Air Ambulances arrived safely at St James Hospital in Leeds, and she was treated accordingly and made a full recovery...:)
Yorkshire Air Ambulances
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance is an independent charity providing a life saving rapid response emergency service to 5 million people across Yorkshire. We fly seven days a week, 365 days a year, covering a vast landscape that not only includes major cities and motor ways, but also rural and isolated locations.
To keep providing this life saving service the charity needs to raise £7200 per day to keep both of Yorkshire’s Air Ambulances maintained and in the air. The generosity that we receive is the life blood of the charity and with out this generosity, we would not be able to provide the service that we are so proud of
