Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit the Calendar Lads community JustGiving page.
Our journey began in 2014 when born from a sad story a group of frontline A&E staff posed naked for a calendar to raise money and awareness for testicular cancer.
Following the calendars big success both nationally and internationally each year the team champion another great cause, to date thanks to the truly wonderful kindness and support from people from all walks of life together we have raised tens of thousands of pounds and huge amounts of awareness for some amazing charity’s making a real difference to the lives of others.
The Calendar Lads Community are inclusive not exclusive and we aim to include, contribute and enhance the surrounding community.
This year the team are raising money and awareness for the NSPCC and the Northumbria Bright Charity.
No child should suffer abuse be mistreated or killed by those who are there to care for and love them. No child should feel unloved.
We’ve all seen the incredibly sad story’s in the media of children lost to abuse , Arthur Labinjo-Hughes was one such child who lost his life at the hands of the very people who should have protected him. In 2021 and beyond in memory of Arthur we aim to make a real difference , leading by example and with your support spread an important message - you are loved.
