'Caldicot Male Voice Choir with about 80 members has a long tradition of raising funds for charities and other worthy causes through its concert performances. In the past four years we have, largely through the efforts of its associated cycle club - Cor Meibion Caldicot Cycle Club and its Golf Society, 'The Birdie Boys' additionally raised over £26,000 for specific charities. This year we are supporting The Motor Neurone Disease Association (South East Wales Branch) to obtain equipment and other resources to help those suffering from this terrible disease, for which there is no known cure.

The Cycle Club is planning a number of events including an 8 hour endurance ride and a one day challenging ride of over 60 miles. The Birdie Boys are planning a sponsored Golf Tournament at the nearby, famous St Pierre Golf Course in Chepstow. Other events to raise funds are in the planning stage and all are fully supported by the choristers and friends.
