Dementia NI is a local charity supporting people living with dementia. The lives of people are dramatically changed by a dementia diagnosis. Their vision is to ensure everyone living with dementia in NI will receive an accurate and timely diagnosis, have access to appropriate services and will live well with the right support. 

Having witnessed the impact Dementia can have on those diagnosed and their families/carers I wanted to use the opportunity of running this marathon to raise some funds and awareness for Dementia NI. By donating to a local charity we can support those closest to us affected by this illness.

I'll be thinking of family & friends currently suffering from Dementia and remembering others who are no longer with us as I'm running through the streets of Belfast next week 😬❤️
