Story

Motor neurone disease (MND) is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting. MND can affect how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe.

My dad was Rich, and he got diagnosed with MND in 2018. In 2019 he was in a wheelchair. And by 2020 he had passed away. He was only 50 years old.

He was the hardest working person I knew. I'm so grateful that he got to be my dad, and he has inspired me in everything that I do. I could go on forever about the man he was, truly.

We used to love running together, and so this is for him and everyone living with or impacted by MND.

I love and miss you Daddio x
