Welcome to Cardiff University's Wildlife and Conservation Society fundraising page!

Over the year (2020/2021) we will be raising money for Just One Ocean to raise awareness of the issues facing our marine and coastal environments, in order to protect and conserve them for future generations. Issues such as overfishing, habitat destruction, plastic pollution and whaling!

We will be organising events throughout the year to fundraise and promote this amazing charity!

Our current project is Plastic-Free Feb 14th - 28th! We are trying to avoid buying unrecyclable / single-use plastic. We are using old jars, and any plastic we do buy will go in the jar. The aim: not to fill the jar! 

Just One Ocean has developed a number of projects, currently undertaking and supporting scientific research in several disciplines, advising on community-based programmes, supporting businesses and art projects. The work they do is diverse, but so are the problems facing the ocean.
