Story

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the Walk the Wight event 2020 in aid of the local Earl Mountbatten Hospice has sadly had to be cancelled. The Hospice is a vital local charity that provides much needed support and care to Island families. They rely heavily on donations and fundraising events, such as Walk the Wight, to be able to continue to provide this care.

As a College, our staff, students, parents and the wider community, are coming together to support this charity by taking part in a Virtual Walk the Wight. Over the next few weeks, our community members will carry out their own walks at home, in school for those students of key workers who attend our emergency care provision, and as part of their daily exercise. We will log the walks on our College virtual walk App to achieve our target together. We ask you to support us by sponsoring our walk through our Just Giving page that we have set up for this purpose.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details will never be shared with other parties and Just Giving will never send you any unwanted emails. Your donation will be sent directly to the intended charity.

Thank you for your support.
