Story
Team CFO,
At the start of last year's Captain's Battle, we set a CFO goal of raising $2,500 to help Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina provide food to people in need while building solutions to end hunger in our communities.
We crushed that goal, ultimately raising over $4,000 and propelling Credit Suisse Raleigh to a new overall site record with nearly $20,000 in employee support for Food Bank.
This year I want to raise the bar even further and am setting a team goal of $5,000. Not just because I want CFO to win bragging rights as the most engaged, biggest supporters of Food Bank at Credit Suisse Raleigh (I do), but more importantly because the COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the role Food Bank plays in fighting hunger and nourishing communities in our region.
Most of us are fortunate enough that we will never face food insecurity. But the economic crisis and social disruption triggered by COVID-19 will leave more people facing hunger in our part of state than in recent memory. Please join me in supporting Food Bank during this challenging year and engaging in a little friendly competition with our colleagues in the meantime.
Thank you for your support!
