Thank you for taking the time to read our page, your support for this great cause is much appreciated.
My family and I are running a Awareness Day at Lakeside Shopping Centre on the 13th February to help raise money for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young). Our fundraiser is set to be a great day to promote the CRY Charity as well as raising money for this special charity all run by the Button family and our close friends. All proceeds we collect will be donated to the charity directly in memory of my brother Graham Button. I have set this Just Giving page up as I am aware some of you are unable to attend however would like to donate to the fundraiser.
As some of you are aware this cause is very close to my heart as this charity works very closely with my family and hundreds of other in the UK daily to support families who have lost a member of their family/friend by sudden cardiac death.
My family was affected back in 2006 when my brother Graham Button, 36 returned from work, collapsed and sadly passed away shortly after. Prior to this event we were unaware of this charity or the number of families affected by SADS (Sudden arrhythmic death syndrome).
CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) assists families who are affected by a sudden loss by providing counselling, information and screening for the other family members. CRY work with cardiologists and family doctors to promote and protect the cardiac health of the young by establishing good practice and screening facilities devoted to significantly reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death throughout the UK
We hope to help CRY create awareness throughout the UK and raise money for CRY to enable them to continue their great work out in the community and help save lives.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you for your support as always
Love the Buttons
