Story
The invasion of Ukraine is threatening the lives and livelihoods of people across the country. More than a million and a half have fled their homes. Leaving behind jobs, belongings and loved ones, they need shelter, food and water. Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) charities and their local partners are in Ukraine and across the border in neighbouring countries. They’re working to meet the immediate needs of all people fleeing with food, water, health assistance, protection and trauma care. We cannot think of a better cause to support.
We are asking for your help to raise money for all those affected. To borrow from Tesco, “every little helps” but please do not feel obliged to contribute if you are not able to. And your contribution can be anonymous, if you would like it to be. £30 could provide essential hygiene supplies for three people for one month, £50 could provide blankets for 4 families to keep them warm, £100 could provide emergency food for two families for one month.
To make our donation as significant as possible, C.P. Hart’s shareholders will match colleague, supplier and customer donations up to £25,000, between now and 30 June or until the £25,000 has been used.
