Story

My name is Connor, I am 9 years old and I have cerebral palsy. I was born prematurely at 30 weeks. As a result I have Spastic Diplegia, which means I cannot walk unaided as my muscles are too tight, I have poor balance and I have difficulty keeping my feet flat on the ground.

The funds raised so far have enabled me to have an operation called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) in the St Louis Children’s Hospital, in America, which has reduced my spasticity. But we still need to raise extra funds to cover the costs of returning to America for followup treatment and the extensive physiotherapy, in the UK,  required for a the next two years to enable me to become more mobile, hopefully walk and to lead a normal life, just like any other little boy.
