CLAPA have been hit hard by the reduction in charity giving during the pandemic. They support families across the UK where over 1000 babies with cleft are born each year.
£10 buys a feeding kit for a new baby with cleft - something the NHS doesn't provide. £50 provides a support pack for a maternity unit. Every penny or pound helps. Their work includes supporting parents and health professionals seeking help feeding babies with clefts; supporting adolescents in schools and social situations, encouraging research into causes and treatments of cleft and much much more.
