Story

Chapman House fundraising for PAPYRUS

SUMMER UPDATE 2021 - A note from Charley (Year 11). To contribute to the House fundraising, my grandad and I are rowing 12.5 miles along the Thames from Cookham Dean to Maidenhead Rowing Club and back on 17th June. This is being done in a vintage skiff built in 1895. Please support this row to help raise money for PAPYRUS.

In the Autumn half-term (17th October - 1st November 2020) the boys of Chapman House hit the roads and trails of the Southeast to fund-raise once again as part of the Great Chapman Duathlon 2020. The boys ran and cycled a total of 2,990km to raise a massive £3,045 for PAPYRUS.

The fundraising wont stop here and we are committed to raising as much support and awareness for PAPYRUS as we can.

This charity is very close to the hearts of the whole of the House, so please support us by giving what you can. Your donation could make a lifesaving difference, so thank you for your contribution to supporting this vital cause.

PAPYRUS is the national Charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide. Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, in 2018 over 1800 young people took their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINEUK. Every £5 raised can help pay for a life-saving contact to HOPELINEUK. Your donations really are lifesaving, thank you.
