CELSA Manufacturing UK Ltd's chosen charity for 2016 is Velindre Cancer Centre.

This is a specialist cancer treatment centre located on the perimeter of Cardiff, providing servicesto people across South East Wales and beyond who are being treated for cancer.

There are lots of areas that need support, such asfunding ground breaking research into a wide variety of areas affected by cancer, specialised equipment that is required and extensive training of staff.

Shaun Simmons’(Melt Shop Caster Manager) wife was treated at Velindre following diagnosis of bowel cancer.

Phil Williams(Melt Shop Mechanical Engineer), who is receiving treatment at the centre, said: “to witness the work the health professionals and volunteers perform at Velindre for the care of sufferers in the South Wales area is remarkable.”

A number of fundraising activities will be taking place at CELSA to raise money for this charity. Please give generously.
