CAZ Clean Air Zone Bristol Support Fund · 14 November 2022

Suicide Prevention UK offers a freephone crisis helpline for anyone who is struggling, a bereavement service for those left behind navigating loss by suicide and foot patrol teams in SW UK providing in-person support, ensuring nobody faces their toughest hours alone. We are hope in the darkness.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page on behalf of the team at Suicide Prevention Bristol.

We are raising money to help us pay the ongoing fees to ensure we can get to every call.

The current costs for 2 of our 3 vehicles to enter the Clean Air Zone will be:

  • £18 per day.
  • £126 per week
  • £504 per month.
  • £6,046 yearly.

Unfortunately, charities do not fall under any of the exemptions for the Clean Air Zone and were unable to find any other way to cover the cost.

Sadly, without being able to cover this cost, we will be left with no choice but to refuse some call-outs in the city centre due to the costs.we have 3 vehicles including 2 cars and a van, however the van is exempt.  We currently find most of our call-outs are to high risk locations in and around the city centre.

Please help us get to every call and consider a donation to support our cause and ensure we can get to every call.

Thank you.
