So at the tender age of 52 why am I doing this..................................?

I needed to get some exercise back into my life but needed a good reason and goal to drive me on. The answer turned out to be a simple one really. I like many others have lost very close family and friends to the "big C", so there was my reason. Some very good friends had signed up to do the Aberdovey Bike Ride and so as a previously keen and competitive cyclist this seemed the ideal motivation. In my mind I am a cyclist and so this was going to be fairly straightforward to do, HOW WRONG I WAS!!!!!! 25 years out of the saddle is a long time and 104 miles is a long way! Anyway here goes, so wish me well. See you in Aberdovey for a drink on the evening of June 16th 2017.
