Story
Our lifesaving service at Burry Port has been operating at full capacity since the start of the pandemic. Our volunteers have been rescuing people throughout these unprecedented times and the dedication of our crews continues to save lives and assist those in difficulty.
The average lifeboat station in Wales costs £155,000 to run. Unfortunately, our ability to raise funds by organising fundraising events came to an abrupt end in March 2020. With the relaxation of covid rules in 2021, we managed a couple of events yet we still need to maintain our lifeboats and launch vehicles as well as cover the general running costs of the station.
We make good use of every pound which comes our way and we
are extremely grateful for your support. It is through support from
people like yourselves that help keep our Lifeboat Service at Burry Port
afloat.
Please consider helping us to keep our lifeboats afloat and
continuing to save lives by donating.
