On Sunday 29 September, conquer 12 iconic London Bridges. Take on this 10 mile challenge and get sponsored for every step of the way to help us reach a future where diabetes can do no harm.

Story

The Bumblebees are fundraising in support of Shelagh's brother Keith Bentham.   Keith developed an infection after cutting his foot which led to his admission to hospital.  He was then diagnosed with Diabetes which had developed to such a stage his circulation was affected.

Despite the excellent treatment he received at hospital unfortunately he had to have both feet and the lower part of his legs amputated and is a double amputee.  After a lot of hard work and endeavour Keith now has two prosthetic legs and has started to walk.

Please support the “Bumblebees” on their 10 miles and 12 London Bridges Challenge in aid of Diabetes.   We aim to raise as much as possible to raise awareness and help develop the treatment for Diabetes.
