Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So this year started with the build up, with me entering numerous challenges and events through the year :

11-19 May Mont Ventoux & Alp D'Huez climbs in France - completed!
27th May - Struggle The Dales 108 miles 10300ft climbing - completed
9th June - Buttertubs 99 miles 6500ft of climbing - completed
24th June White Rose Classic  112miles 10000ft climbing - completed
6th July 202 miles time trial - completed 11hrs 24 mins.
17th August 171 miles time trial 10hrs 18 min
19th August 170 miles time trial 9 hrs 53 mins

All lead to the main reason and the opportunity to qualify for the Race Across America on the
Sept 15th-16th Sept at Revolve 24hr Endurance challenge ( target 340miles+)
I have been training hard all winter and through the year and we are almost at there.

I will be doing it in aid of Scottys Little Soldiers and hoping to cover at least 340 miles and raise a decent amount to help the children that are supported by Scottys. (www.scottyslittlesoldiers.co.uk)
Update - I have self imposed the target of qualifying for the Race Across America , I need to hit 340 miles in 24 hours.

The event is around Brands Hatch race track, a 2 mile circuit and includes a 7% & 9% gradients (ouch) which will be climbed at least 140 times!! This is a major challenge!

The price of a pint for my efforts would be great!! Text MYPI65 to 70070 or follow the link

The event starts at 15:00 any time you can be present to help would be great, the dark hours are the toughest in this type of event,
