Story

Ben and I decided at the end of March that we were going to stop drinking for the whole of April for two reasons:

1. To see if we could do it.

2. To invest some of this new time we have in our health.

So far so good. But it's getting harder... the sun is out and I have a craving for some Strongbow Dark Fruits and to add insult to injury we are having weekly virtual pub 'meetings' with friends and families whilst sipping on juice and it feels sooo abnormal to us. Those who know Ben and I well will know that we are no stranger to a session, so I'm sure that you will know that not having a scoop or two is a tough ride for us. I mean, if there was ever a time for drinking alcohol, its now! We have managed this far but still have 10 days to go!

Therefore, we thought that someone should really benefit from our pain right now and what better charity to donate to than Health in Mind. I am very proud to say that I am seeing first hand the absolutely amazing work Health in Mind are currently doing to support people who are struggling with poor mental health and wellbeing through this massively challenging time. They have done a great job so far in developing new and innovative ways to help people self manage and be with them on this journey.

If you're fortunate enough to still be working, please consider donating the cost of your usual coffee and pastry or your daily commute to this wonderful charity.
