The Neal Addison Memorial Poker Tournament

Just over a year ago, those of us who play regularly in the Brudenell Poker tournaments learned the news that one of our number had passed away tragically young after losing a long battle with depression. Around this time last year, friends, family and degenerate card players all gathered together in his honour to do what he would have wanted: play poker, eat cake, be unspeakably offensive to each other and drink whisky with irresponsible abandon. Oh, and we also managed to raise some money for charity too.
This year, to honour his memory we’ll be doing much the same with the Neal Addison Memorial Tournament on Saturday Feb the 23rd and we’d love to see as many of you as would like to be there. The poker itself is by no means compulsory, you’re welcome to just come and eat cake, but for those who would like to play, no matter what – if any – experience you have, it is very much the more the merrier. It will cost £25 to play with £5 of that going to the charity MIND, with the top-finishing players obviously winning a split of what’s in the non-charity pot.
However we realise that not everyone can be there and - for some strange reason - apparently some people don't actually like poker. So that's where this page comes in. For non players charity donations are of course very welcome, and so if you'd like to pay the £5 charity donation that the players will be paying then you are very welcome to and can do so here.
For those who want to play as well, it’s by no means limited to those who knew Neal, everyone is welcome, so feel free to spread the word.
Cheers, the Brudenell Poker Degenerates.
