Story
My name is Brooke Walsh. I am 10 years old and I feel if I have my hair cut short I might be able to help children with cancer.
I've wanted to have my hair cut short for a while and I thought if I have my hair cut short I should make use of it. My mum helped me find out about a charity called Little Princess Trust which makes wigs for children with cancer and accept donations of hair so I want to send my hair to them.
I then decided that I could raise money to help children with cancer by asking my friends and family to sponsor me having my hair cut short as my family and friends love my hair really long and don't want me to cut it short (especially my Nana!)
I live near Exeter and decided I really wanted to help children that live near to me. My mum helped me find out about the Children's Hospice South West. I really like the idea that they help children with a life limit to have the best time possible before they pass away because all children should be able to have fun. It's good as well that they help the child's family cope with it and stay with them.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
