Brighter Skies BestBall League and Pod-A-Thon was founded in 2021 by a passionate group of individuals from the Twitter fantasy football community. A group of individuals dedicated to making social media a more inclusive space, not only for the fantasy football community, but for all users.

As members of the online fantasy community, we have seen how just how great this space can be. "Strangers" become real life friends and start businesses together. Encourage each other. Build each other up when down. 

Sadly, we have seen the dark side that hiding behind a monitor and keyboard can bring as well. Recently one of the members of our community was bullied to the point where they saw no other alternative than to attempt to take their own life. 

Regrettably, this is not the first instance of such extreme bullying taking place, but with your help, we hope it can be one of the last.

Brighter Skies BestBall League and Pod-A-Thon has been named in honor of our hurting community member. The sky is her passion, and we believe it to be an incredible metaphor for those in tough times. The sky may feel grey now, but know there are Brighter Skies ahead.
