NEW YEAR'S EVE ROCK AROUND THE (MIDNIGHT) CLOCK!

New year's day sees the dawn of my 60th birthday! at my party and as part of my celebration I will be singing a set list of songs with my lovely music tutor James Mills....in lieu of gifts after our performance I will be kindly asking for donations to help the work of my two charities along with sponsorship....

I developed hypoparathyroidism in November 2007 following surgery for a total thyroidectomy due to Graves disease.... to go through surgery for one endocrine condition and end up with another for life can at times be challenging to say the least, the support and advice I have received from Hypopara Uk and The British Thyroid Foundation is invaluable they are my rock and whenever I can I try to give something back....

Hopefully by completing our performance this will demonstrate how living with any chronic long term health condition can have a positive outcome it is all about you controlling it and it not controlling you, for me personally it will be a celebration that after going through neck/throat surgery vocally there has been a positive outcome which has enabled me to follow my passion for singing !

In these challenging economic times every penny has to stretch further than ever and it is through people like you that dig deep into their pockets and my shiny little stars James Mills guitar/music tutor and Stewart King professional photographer who give freely of their time and expertise that we are able to keep going....
