I was inspired to try to raise some money for charity through having a friend with cerebral palsy. His life isn't the easiest, he is unable to work and do some everyday things that many of us take for granted because of his disability, which can often get him down. However he doesn't complain and continues to battle which was inspirational enough to make us want to run 100miles in 2017..

On asking him what charity would benefit from any funds I can raise he chose scope, on reading what scope does and how they help and support disabled people, I believe this charity deserves his recommendation.
