It is with deep sorrow that we received the news that our senior and very dear colleague Brian Parker has passed away at the age of 76. Brian had been in and out of hospital over the past year with various ailments which, on their own were not very serious.
However the succession of all these stresses and strains took its toll on his dear heart which finally gave out on Saturday 31 January 2015. Brian was devoted to his client directors and committee members of the blocks in his care, most of whom regarded him as a friend. He sailed through 65 and 70 without a moment’s thought of retirement, and continued to dictate letters and memos from his hospital bed right up to the end.
Brian was a staunch supporter of Médecins sans Frontières and we would like to continue to raise funds for MSF in his memory. We chose to do so with a memory page on JustGiving because they will send the full donation directly to the charity, and his friends and colleagues can leave a few words in memorial which will give comfort to all.
