Cancer is such a devastating disease. Speak to anyone and they can tell you how they have been directly or indirectly affected. In the last twelve months this terrible condition has been previlant in my life, affecting my friends and relatives.It was my intention to raise funds to help research and the last twelve months has spurred me into putting my good intentions into action. 

Cancer research are the world's leading Cancer charity dedicated to saving lives through research. Their groundbreaking work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer has seen UK survival rate double in the last 40 years

Catting for Cancer is a 48hr Cat fishing event to be held at Shatterford Lakes on July 2nd 2014 Shatterford have very generously donated all 3 of their lakes that hold Catfish for our event, there are 34 places in total.prizes have been donated and will be available for various catergories for the anglers taking part.Our aim is to raise funds to be donated to Cancer research to help them search for a cure for this terrible disease that has affected us all in one way or another.
