I have decided to run the London 2014 marathon for a few reasons. Most importantly I want to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. I've chosen this charity due to my personal experiences. My sister, Helena, was born with a heart defect and died aged 15. More recently my 4 year old daughter Aoife was referred to a heart specialist. She was diagnosed with a problem but we've been assured she will live a healthy and full life. On leaving the hospital that day I made a promise to raise money for a heart charity. So here we are. In memory of Helena and for those less fortunate than Aoife, please help me fulfill the promise I made. Thanks
