We support people with dementia in Scotland to make sure nobody faces dementia alone

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

John, Alan and I started a sponsored slim on the 26th of March, we have been in contact with a dietitian and aim to lose 6 stone collectively over 6 months. Three weeks into our'slimathon' we are on target!! Those of you who know us will realise this is no simple task so please give generously...and if you see us in the pub, give us a fiver to go home.

Alzheimers is becoming an all too common neurological disease that not only affects the sufferer but everyone that is close to them. This money will go towards increased services, higher standards of care,  home support and improved protection for those suffering the disease.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
