We provide mental health treatment to veterans from every service and conflict

Story

As a cold war pilot I understood the risks of serving in the military, but was spared the combat experience that many had in the Falklands, Bosnia, Gulf Wars and in Iraq and Afghanistan. The trauma experienced by many who served is not being acknowledged or supported adequately but Combat Stress does its best with inadequate resources.

It seems very appropriate that I should do what I can, following the cancellation of the 75th Anniversaries of VE-Day and VJ-Day in addition to Armed Forces Day 2020, to support this great charity, rather than just see it as an occasion for celebrating the end of the War. My family served, and lost a member in Bomber Command and I ride in their memory and for all Veterans who struggle with their service to our country.

The ride is now taking place over the Battle of Britain remembrance period in mid September. Thank you for sponsoring and wish me luck.
