Story
In November 2016 I will be returning to Nepal with an expedition team to attempt to climb 2 x Unclimbed Peaks in the remote region of Rolwaling, making first ascents on both.
The first is unnamed but we have provisionally called Karbu Ri (White Peak) at about 6,000m and the second is Langdung at 6,326m.
The aim is to continue to raise as much is possible for ShelterBox who continue to provide emergency aid in Nepal and in places that need immediate action.
My wife Steph has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and I was to raise funds for a breast cancer charity but both Steph and I feel that after the earthquake in Nepal, the need in Nepal is far greater and immediate.
I am therefore raising funds for Shelter Box who work directly with people in Nepal to provide shelter for those without homes after the earthquake.
One of the team members, Phil Absolon, is also raising money for Shelter Box Nepal so this is now a joint fundraising page.
Having led charity expeditions to Nepal in the past, I know of several friends (guides and sherpas) who are currently sleeping on the street with their wives and children after their homes have been destroyed.
Please donate so that we can really make a difference - 100% of any money donated goes straight to Shelter Box Nepal as I have paid for all the expedition costs myself.
Thank you.
