Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those of you who know me you will understand just how much of a sacrific it is to have my hair cut. For those that dont let me jsut say its been 23 years since the last time :)

So why am I doing this? and what do I hope to achieve?

When I was a teenager my father, Peter Gilmour pass away due to a cancer. Shortly thereafter I also lost my mother, Mary Gilmour. So the short answer is I am doing it in memory of them. More specifically I am hoping to raise as much as possible for Cancer Research so that others don't have to face the same loss as myself. Cancer affects everyone of us in some way but with dedication and support for those incredibly clever chaps and chapesses at Cancer Research can find ways to prevent, cure, or ease the devestation caused by this malign little killer.

So even if you think having my hair cut is no biggie, remember its not about me but about helping to save peoples lives and prevent kids growning up without their parents. Please give whatever you can, and please tell your friends to do the same.

Thanks for listening and thanks in advance for your support,

Gilly
