Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
So it was the day after my 51st birthday and I decided to drag my fat arse onto my bike which hadn't actually seen my fat arse for several months to do the Thames Bridges Bike Ride for the Stroke Association. The total distance including riding from the finishing point at Hampton Court to home was going to be 70miles - a distance I hadn't ridden for well over a year! But it was a distance that was hopefully going to work off the previous nights birthday excesses!
And off I went on Sunday May 13. Apart from a sore back, wrist, neck and aforementioned arse, I was pleased, given my current level of (un)fitness, to complete the distance without too much drama.
