Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Jonah was diagnosed with severe autism at a very young age. He's endured many challenges in his life and needs 24 hour care, 7 days a week. He is a smiley, funny, loving young man, albeit non verbal but always manages to communicate his needs, in his own way.
Our dad Brian (Chuck), had a very special bond with Jonah, always using the 'high five' gesture as a form of mutual communication.
When Jonah was awarded a placement at Sunfield School, it was a huge relief to us all, especially dad, as he knew he would now receive the specialist care that he deserved.
Sunfield is an independent specialist school and children’s home located on 58 acres in the beautiful Clent Hills in the West Midlands. They provide education, care, and therapy for children and young people with a variety of social, emotional, physical, and learning difficulties, including autism and visual impairment.
It was dad's wish that instead of floral tributes at his funeral, money could be raised to help fund equipment of all kinds for Sunfield School, that Jonah would greatly benefit from and be a lasting legacy for our dad, Jonah's lovely grandad.
Please donate as generously as you can, every little helps.
THANK YOU
