We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

By kind permission of Squadron Leader Kev McMurdo (OC 51 Sqn RAF Regt), the junior officers on the Sqn will sacrifice their dignity and good looks in the name of charity.

From 1-30 November, 9 Officers will grow moustaches to raise awareness for the Prostate Cancer Charity. During November, men all over the world take part in the charity event known as "MOVEMBER".

1 in 9 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer at some point in their life - this means that out of the 9 of us taking part, 1 of us is likely to be affected.

Whilst this event is not physically demanding, it will be a real challenge growing a moustache that looks anything less than offensive.

Please give generously, Prostate cancer is rarely considered when thinking about charities which makes this event even more important.

Thank you
