Story
Christian Aid has been a part of my life since I first started collecting at the age of 16. This year, to raise money for Christian Aid Week I will be taking part in the 300,000 steps challenge. I'm a Member of the Wolverhampton Methodist circuit so I'm looking forward to getting out and exploring more of Wolverhampton.
I am challenging myself to walk about 4 miles each day mostly along Wolverhampton's canal's and waterways. Exercise is not my strong point - getting up off the couch is sometimes a challenge! So I hope you will sponsor me and help make a difference to some of the world's poorest communities.
If you would like to join me for a socially distanced walk for one of the days please contact me on brendaks@hotmail.co.uk
Everyone is equal in the sight of God. Yet we live in a world where poverty still persists. Poverty is an outrage against humanity. It robs people of their dignity and lets injustice thrive. But together we have the power to transform lives. For over 70 years, we’ve been standing with the poorest of our neighbours. We work in 37 countries, with people of all faiths and none, to stand up for dignity, equality and justice. We stand together with our global neighbours. Together we can create a world where everyone can live.
