Brenda was diagnosed with lung cancer 8 weeks before her death on 10th May 2010.  The community team of Sam Beare hospice enabled Brenda to be cared for in the loving home of her family.  The level of care Brenda received through this charity was quite simply remarkable.  The Sam Beare Hospice charity is now very close to the hearts of Brenda's daughters.
