We support people affected by dementia to improve their quality of life

Story

Our fabulous Mom, Brenda Belcher, died earlier this month. Mom suffered with Alzheimer's Disease and Vascular Dementia (she was never one to do things by half!) for years. However, despite these horrible disease's best efforts, Mom stayed Mom until the end - loving, caring, feisty, happy with a wicked sense of humour and utterly proud of her family. She was full of love and a joy to be around, bringing a smile to everyone's face, whether you'd known her all your life or had just met her for the first time. That smile of hers... it lit up the room!

In her memory we're raising as much money for BUDS, a dementia charity based in Sandwell. These people really helped Mom and us in those scary early days of her diagnosis, supporting us and giving us practical advice. If you'd like to know more about them, please have a look here: https://www.buds.co.uk/

Please give whatever you can, no matter how small, in memory of Mom and in lieu of flowers. Flowers fade in no time, the impact that the work that BUDS does in helping dementia sufferers and their families lasts so much longer. We've been there.

Thank you so much for your support.

Ian & Angie Belcher xx xx
